In Pictou County, we are incredibly fortunate to have The Crombie House, which is home to the Crombie Collection of Art - an expertly curated collection of Canadian art. The collection showcases Early Canadian, The Group of Seven, Canadian Masters, Canadian Impressionists and the Modern Period. One of the finest private collections of its kind, the Sobey Art Foundation has assembled exemplary examples from Canadian Masters such as Cornelius Krieghoff, Tom Thomson J.E.H. MacDonald and David Milne. The collection is housed in an intimate setting at Crombie House, the former home of Frank Sobey and his wife Irene in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
Much of the significant art housed at the Crombie House is currently on a national tour. Please visit the Crombie House website here for further details about the Generations exhibition.
The Crombie House looks forward to welcoming you summer of 2025.
