In July of 2019, Dalhousie Family Medicine welcomed six new residents to the new North Nova Family Medicine Teaching Site, based in Truro. We're been fortunate to have two residents currently practicing in Amherst, Truro and New Glasgow, who are following a non-traditional “longitudinal curriculum”, spending two years in a family practice where they will follow a group of patients, gaining skills and experience in areas like maternal care, mental health and senior care.
