Though the pandemic has impacted many of our annual events, one event that is still able to safely take place is the 3rd annual Ride the River!
This is an annual event that takes place on the East River in downtown New Glasgow, where paddlers in kayaks, canoes and paddle boards hit the water to paddle to Blueberry Island, located a quick paddle up the river.
The event is just $15, and is run solely by volunteers. Registration comes with the chance to win prizes, and include treats on the island, after working up an appetite!
